Duplice Please

 photo Purpletop-Loubbs-1_zpsf788ca8d.jpg

Hello there fashionistas!

I'm back with another reveal of a new pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, this time a pair of wedges from the Spring/Summer 2013 line up. These Duplice 140 (purple/orange) wedges have been on my radar ever since the Spring/Summer line up was first introduced. I have no idea why they are listed as being purple/orange when they are clearly Purple, yellow, and gold for the most part. I'm so glad to finally get to add them to my collection. I paired them with these super hot ripped jeans from Hot Miami Styles, and a purple button sleeveless top that I found while thrift shopping!

One thing to keep in mind when shopping for the Duplice wedges, or any other tie-dye Louboutins, is that each pair is different. Look through the multiple pairs that your local Louboutin retailer will have in your size and pick exactly the pair that you like. I went for these because I loved the deep purple tie dye pattern on the wedge, and the light tie-dye patterning on the straps. There are also strips of pink on the front strap, which I loved. It's nice to know that your pair of Duplice wedges are one of a kind and unique.

This outfit was perfect and so comfortable for a nice day out with my love. We ate lunch by the beach, went shopping, and then joined our good friends for a movie. This past weekend we got to see "Pain and Gain", and "Oblivion". I enjoyed both movies and loved how entertaining both were, the first one being hilarious yet terrifying, and the other being action packed and thrilling.

Fluorescent Rose

 photo Pivivhic-6_zps45846089.jpg

Hello fashionistas!

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have seen the reveal of my new Christian Louboutin shoes! I've wanted them from the moment that I laid my eyes on them in the season previews. This specific style is the "Pivichic" in the color "Rose Fluorescent". These have got to be the most comfortable pair of Louboutin's that I own. I don't know if it happens to be the curve in the heel that makes them quite a delightful pair of heels to walk in.  If you are interested in this particular style of Louboutin's, I would suggest that you try them on prior to purchasing them. I was so surprised when I decided to buy a pair that were a full size down from my original shoe size. Louboutin sizes are all over the place, so it's best to be safe than sorry. Unless, of course, you find a dream pair on eBay for an unbelievable price. At that point, you just have to make them fit!

My outfit is a simple get up to grab some tacos at Rocco's. My top, although appearing to be a tucked in shirt, is actually a one piece that I am obsessing over! No constant adjusting and slipping out of the shirt, just slip it on, and done! It's from and is available now in their "new arrivals" section on the website.

I've been all about jeans lately, and have recently stocked up on a bunch of new styles and colors of jeans so you'll be seeing a lot of that lately. I just find them so perfect for Spring!

D.Tucker's Guest Post - "Her Tattoos"

 photo DTuckersguestpost_zpse20303ea.jpg

First, an immense thank you to Katrina for allowing me the opportunity to share with you on the blog today.

If have read Katrina's blog in the past you might remember me as Dwayne Tucker, Katrina's photographer friend. From here on out, you'll remember me as the Katrina’s photographer friend, who's also an Alternative Hip-Hop artist.

Despite me returning the music scene and pursuing my childhood dream, my Photoshopping addiction still exist.

I digitally-inked Katrina's arm shown in the cover artwork above for my new single, Her Tattoos, featured on my upcoming EP, "Portfolio Day" (Late April 2013).

Her Tattoos was written to highlight the shadows of stereotyping.

If you're for the statement, "Image is everything", I agree with you. However, just because a person has tattoos / a person may be different to you, they shouldn't be judged on their image. But I think the personality of a person's image is what matters the most.

Many artists and public figures, such as Katrina and I, are heavily judged early on in our careers. People often neglect to take into consideration of the amount of pain that drives us to do what we love. We must keep in mind while doing what we love, the objective should be to inspire others to do the same.

Did you think the tattoos on Katrina were real?
What were your initial thoughts?
I hope they were all positive.
(She's still the most beautiful; we all know that.)

When I'm exposed to the public as a rap / hip-hop artist, I don’t want to be thought of as the stereotypical rapper (baggy clothing, big chains and guns etc.)

I'm finding that my purpose with my music is to inspire a generation by showcasing my art. Most importantly, to unite all YACHTLIFE supporters and continue to sail together to greatness and success.

Again, I'd like to say a special thank you to Katrina and a thank you to readers of this article.
You can listen below and please leave your feed back in the comment section and I promise to answer you! I would love to know what you thought about "Her Tattoos"!
