Lion Country Safari

We're always looking to take J.J. somewhere fun and educational on the weekends. I love providing my son with hands on, real life experiences and stimulations that he can learn and grow from. We love family time! Building memories with our little guy means the world to us.

Recently we took J.J. to Lion Country Safari, a drive through animal experience up in West Palm Beach, Florida. (If you're interested in going, there is an $8 off coupon for all passengers in the car, on the Lion Country Safari website!) My good friend and her adorable son came as well. This place is very family and kid friendly, and is jam packed with educational experiences for kids of all ages! We had an awesome day!

There is no better way to learn more about the animals that we share this amazing planet with than to come face to face with them! Lion Country Safari gave us the opportunity to feed a giraffe, and have our side view mirror attacked by an ostrich! J.J. had the time of his life, and now has an appreciation for the beautiful animals that he encountered at Lion Country Safari. You can see these animals in a book, or on TV a million times, but nothing compares to seeing their awe inspiring beauty in real life and watching them majestically moving, eating, and breathing just feet away from you. (Popping the trunk and driving off with a zebra did cross my mind a few times...).

Animalistic Design

 photo HMSLeopard-2_zps60c1ea8d.jpg

I am totally head over heels in love with this leopard print belted knee length pencil dress! I love how classy the larger leopard print looks and it reminds me of the famous D&G and Roberto Cavalli leopard print. I blogged about this dress over at my Hot Miami Styles Blog and if you haven't checked it out yet, I encourage you to head over there. I promise you won't be disappointed! I update that blog at least 3 times a week with various fashion and trend posts. The link is

I paired this dress with my brown and black Donald J. Pliner sandals. I could imagine how sexy this dress would look with a pair of sky high heels! I also imagine that this dress can be suited up to fit perfectly into a office setting as well.  I love the asymmetrical neckline, and it's a conservative cut that covers a generous portion of your chest.

I find it smarter to splurge on accessories that you can fancy up any outfit with, rather than on dresses that you may only wear a handful of times. This dress is priced at $59.99, which I find to be completely reasonable and definitely budget fashionista friendly.

Christian Louboutin Just Picks 100

I'm back with another shoe reveal!

I have to thank my lucky stars for finally hunting down these gorgeous sparkling Christian Louboutin beauties. These have been my dream shoes ever since they came out, about a year ago. I'm so happy and I can't stop starring at them. I have yet to wear them out of the house, but they have been on my feet every day since they arrived at my doorstep!

These are labeled on the box as Christian Louboutin Just Picks 100 Pot Pourri/PVC/Specchio C. They are a size 38.5, which is my true to size, but I wish I could have gotten them in a 39 just due to how narrow they are. At this point in time I'm limited on selection since there are no more available through the company in any size. I'll deal with it and try to stretch them out which I am assuming should not be too difficult due to the PVC. The toe box is quite roomy though, similar to the Pigalle 100. I do like the fact that the shoe does not slip off of my foot in the back, unlike my Tres Decolletes which I got in a 39 and find them to slip off my foot, which is kind of tricky since the minimum possible material is holding the shoe onto my foot in the first place.

I can't wait to style these and wear them out! I'm assuming I will only bring these out for special occasions. They are just so precious to me!

Peachy Goodness

 photo HMSCoralDress-1_zps77158780.jpg

“Experts in ancient Greek culture say that people back then didn't see their thoughts as belonging to them. When ancient Greeks had a thought, it occurred to them as a god or goddess giving an order. Apollo was telling them to be brave. Athena was telling them to fall in love."
- Chuck Palahniuk, Lullaby

I am absolutely head over heels in love with this goddess inspired maxi dress from Hot Miami Styles. On the website the belt is described to be silver, but I would say that it is more of a pale muted gold which I think is actually better than just silver since it can be styled with, and pass for silver or gold. I love how long the belt is! When you wrap it around yourself and cinch your waist you create a metal coil like appearance, it's just perfect!

I blogged about this outfit on the Hot Miami Styles Blog, so if you're interested in buying this dress, which is priced at $44.99, CLICK HERE to be directed to the post which will list all of the individual item links for you.

I recently bought a new pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. The style came out close to a year ago, but I was lucky enough to find a brand new pair and I can't wait to reveal them to you on my blog with some high resolution photos!

Gone with the wind

 photo LeopardDress-6_zps973d3753.jpg

I'm back with a new post on the Hot Miami Styles Blog and I wanted to share the outfit here on my blog as well. I loved this brown animal print maxi dress. Being on the tall side (5'8''), it's hard for me to find maxi dresses that are long enough. This one is perfect! It's not too long, and not too short. I can wear it with or without heels, and therefore I see how it could work on women of all sizes.

You can check out my post on the HMS blog here -

This dress is available on for $99.99. I paired it with my XTC on Melrose "Glass High" sandals and threw on a new bracelet that I recently received from

Roses are red, Valentines are too

A new post just went live on featuring this gorgeous cherry red halter bandage dress.  This dress is perfect for Valentine's Day! I can't wait to wear it out on a romantic date with my boo on that special day. This dress is only $54.99 which I think is quite a bargain for a curve hugging, thick, silky bandage dress of this caliber. I didn't even need to wear Spanx! The bustier girls will appreciate the adjustable straps to give you just enough of the support that you need.

Outfit specs and links to the items are all posted on the blog. I even added my measurements and the size of the items that I am wearing for sizing assistance.
