October Hellos

I can't believe how much time I let slip away between the last time that I had posted. It's as if my life just turned in another direction and I forgot about something that had meant so much to me. Maybe because deep down inside I felt like I had to. It all became too superficial. I lost that sparkle that I had when I used to post with meaning. It just wasn't fun anymore and my heart was broken. My passion turned against me.

Well, I can't sit back any longer and watch the dust collect upon my keyboard. Here we go...the way I want it to be.

October in Florida is no different than the summer. Hot, humid, and sticky. With my birthday approaching on Monday, I'm feeling blessing by having another year to spend surrounded by the most special people. Watching my precious son grow up a happy boy, smiling from ear to ear.

Next weekend is our trip to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World. If you've ever been during this time of the year, do share some of the details. We've become Disney obsessed and creep over to Orlando every chance that we get, but we've never been for the fall festivities and it will be our first time attending the party. Getting that annual pass was the best decision we've ever made. We were sure to be bored of Disney World after a few visits but the magic happens in a special new way every time we go.

Happy Hauntings!

xoxo,

  4. My husband and I went to Disneyland (CA) for Halloween in 2007 and had a fabulous time. One exhibit was completely redone in Nightmare Before Christmas decor and many of the characters were dressed in "spooky" versions of their costumes. I was especially delighted b/c Halloween is my favorite holiday. The crowds are also smaller b/c people are busy with trick or treaters, etc. I hope you have fun!
