Day 3 at Disney World - Animal Kingdom

Here are some more photos from our trip to Disney World, specifically from our third day there, when we visited Animal Kingdom.  J.J. would wake Jerrid and I up by jumping on our bed and screaming in excitement to go back to Disney World.

Animal Kingdom was so much fun. We shopped, ate, went on a safari ride, and learned so many cool facts about animals. J.J. loved spotting some of the amazing wild animals we saw on the safari ride such as the giraffe and the elephant. There was even an adorable baby elephant!

When at Animal Kingdom it is a must to check out the Finding Nemo musical and the celebration of the Lion King show. Such beautiful presentations that we enjoyed so much.

I put together a scrapbook for J.J. of all of the photos from our trip to Disney World. He loves it and has been asking to look through it and read it with me before he goes to sleep every night. He can't wait until we go back to Disney World. I can't either!

A family that kicks it together,
stays together.

Just Goofin' around...

If you know me, you would know how badly I've longed for the Christian Louboutin Deva 120 booties. I missed out on buying them when they were in season, but it was my lucky day when I came across Milysan's online consignment store at I saw her Instagram my dream shoes and I instantly e-mailed her, paid for them and waited by the door for them to come to me. They were on my feet in no time and I'm a super happy customer. The shoes are gently worn and the best part about it is that I got them for a fraction of their original cost!

I was afraid that they would be too big since I'm usually a 38.5 or 39 when it comes to any shoes, and my other Louboutin are a size 39, but these size 40 booties fit perfectly. I'm glad they have a bit of room for my foot as they are rather narrow and the suede cut outs make it a process to put on and take off. They'r perfect! I couldn't be happier!

I wore them to the mall to pick up a few things I had on my wish list at BCBG (will blog about later, some things I had to order there so they will be shipped to my home).  All the shopping is in preparation for my best friend's wedding which is coming up in a few weeks!  I can't wait for the big day!

What I wore:
H&M jeans / BCBGeneration top / Christian Louboutin shoes / Chanel bag

My make up was very simple:
YSL Tient Resist foundation / Lorac day palatte (3 colors used) / YSL mascara
/ Stila kajal liner in black / YSL #7 lipstick / Chanel #131 lipgloss.

I will be doing a swatch post shortly of some of my favorite lip products for spring.

Our trip to Magic Kingdom - Disney World 2012

Here are some photos from our Disney World vacation so far. We've been here for 2 days and have another 2 days left! We plan to hit up Animal Kingdom tomorrow!

We had a blast at Magic Kingdom. We rode on all the rides multiple times. I definitely recommend the Fast Pass when you go. It makes your trip there so much easier. You can ride on the small quick rides while waiting for your time on the major attractions to come up. Super convenient!

We ate until our bellies ached, rode on a magic carpet, flew with Peter Pan, travelled all around the world (it's a small world after all), flew with an elephant, explored a haunted mansion, bumped and bounced with Tigger in a honey pot, crash landed with Goofy, and this is only to name a few! Disney World is truly the land where all of your fantasies come true. Just watching the magic come alive in my son's eyes made every breath that I take sweeter.

We can't wait to make more magical memories tomorrow!

A ferry transports you from the parking area to the Magic Kingdom park entrance.

J.J. can't wait!
His excitement was building as the castle got bigger and bigger during our ferry ride across the lake.

Wow! What a sight!

Meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie!

Mad hat tea party! Spin, spin, spin!

Zooming down the Speedway...

Yum yum!

Check out my focus on the Buzz Lightyear ride. Classic family photo.
I was getting those points!

J.J. met Buzz Lightyear! He couldn't even contain himself.

Absolutely amazing.
I got quite teary eyed during this performance.
The message of dreams and wishes coming true if you believe gets me every time.
It's so true and it's something important to believe in, and builds the belief in oneself to create the life that they wish for.

Hope you've had a magical day!

Susan Hanover Designs + a Giveaway!

Wearing a Susan Hanover Designs gold plated necklace with quartz.

I have had the pleasure of meeting a fantastic person and jewelry designer; Susan Hanover of Susan Hanover Designs. I was so impressed by Susan's  jewelry line and how fashion forward this woman's vision is, I just have to rave about it.  Susan started off her career in law but as her family grew, so did her passion for designing jewelry and so she decided to make a business out of it. Definitely a woman to look up to for inspiration, Susan is a business minded, family oriented, fashionista. I am honored to have met her. Check out her collections at

I fell in love with Susan's edgy yet sophisticated pieces. Susan uses natural materials from the Earth to complete her pieces and allows them to bring their own natural brilliance to life. Jewelry can transform any outfit from casual to trendy in an instant, and so Susan Hanover Designs have been hitting trunk shows, and reaching the hands of many popular celebrities of our day such as Beyonce, Mary Kate Olsen, and have even made appearances on shows such as Gossip Girl.

Wearing a Susan Hanover Designs gold plated necklace with quartz.

Susan Hanover Designs cuffs have made a huge impression, being featured on an episode of Gossip Girls. The cuff is definitely the next item that I will be picking up from Susan's line. There are so many colors, metals, and stones to choose from. I'm sure I will have a lot of fun.

Tassel necklaces have been a huge trend.

Besides just making large trendy pieces, Susan has created gorgeous sparkling disks, evil eyes, and beaded tassels that have been a huge hit. Check out the website to see many more of Susan Hanover's designs at -
